PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship (JBC) was introduced in 2015 to encourage & build opportunities for junior badminton aspirants of our nation. Working at the grassroots level, JBC helps young talent to hone their skills with the right mentorship.
Through JBC, PNB MetLife aims to spread awareness of this well-liked sport among athletes aged between 7 to 17. The Indian badminton community has pledged its support to this trailblazing endeavour, with PV Sindhu, India’s leading badminton stalwart representing us and motivating the Indian youth to make the most of this opportunity.
The Seventh edition of JBC will be played across 10 cities namely, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jalandhar, Kochi, Guwahati, Ranchi, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
The tournament will be played across the following 10 age categories:
U - 9 (Boys & Girls)
U - 11 (Boys & Girls)
U - 13 (Boys & Girls)
U - 15 (Boys & Girls)
U - 17 (Boys & Girls)
